Philadelphia, PA (July 12, 2010) – On Monday, July 12, Bill Ringle, business growth strategist and CEO of LearnWell.com, will lead an interactive seminar called “Networking is a Contact Sport” for participants of Startup! at Drexel University.

The seminar is part of an innovative week-long series of intensive entrepreneurial summer sessions for exceptional rising high school juniors and seniors. StartUp! instills an entrepreneurial passion for business startups and offers a foundation of knowledge to aspiring business leaders. It was initiated by Mark Loschiavo, executive director of the Baiada Center and entrepreneur in residence at Drexel Univerity’s LeBow College of Business.

“Low-level business networking is done all time. Many people think that exchanging business cards (or “bumping” contact info across smart phones) is the beginning and end of networking. That perspective misses the heart of networking, which is building relationships that help people reach their goals. Business networking is really about the mutually beneficial exchange of contacts, advice, and other resources,” says Bill Ringle. “It is exciting to share these techniques with the entrepreneurs in the StartUp! program and know that they will embrace them at an earlier age than the experienced business leaders I teach these skills to on a regular basis.”
